The Watcher...
I enjoyed a very special afternoon with Pru and her boyfriend Calum... We had a wonderful time together....
We met in a hotel in Mayfair.... I love meeting up all over the world.
I had a sense of expansiveness and freedom as I made my way across London to the mystery address Pru had given me... We had made the plan to meet up again, when we were in Spain together... With the idea being to continue deepening the dialogue... Authentic dialogue opens up limitless possibilities; this is what Pru and Calum wanted to investigate...
Growth, expansion and freedom from anything limiting them from their brightest expression...
As Pru and I walked out into the street to find somewhere for lunch, she said 'I'm in London with you...'
Corfu in the Spring, Spain in the summer and now London in the fall...
Pru was feeling happy and good in herself; over lunch we investigated how she could continue to stretch her comfort zone, whilst staying relaxed, having fun and truly recognising herself in all of her endeavours...
We enjoyed a delicious lunch in 'Browns'...Pru drank mineral water, me tonic water with ice and lemon, my 'virgin G and T'!
When our waitress brought our bill she said 'I have a huge apology to make... On your bill there is a "drunk refusal" note'!
Pru and I laughed a lot... We said that we were unlikely to ever get an actual 'drunk refusal' note as we a 'light drinkers', and so we are glad to have had at least one in our lives...
After I left Calum and Pru, I caught the train to Gatwick where I was meeting Anadi to stay the night in the Premier Inn, but I had made a plan to talk with a client on the phone first...
My battery was running low, so when I arrived at the airport, I searched for a plug... I found one quite quickly, but it meant I needed to sit on the floor.
I settled myself 'in'... Around me the activity of Gatwick airport continued... It was like I didn't exist...
But at one point, I was doing a bit of chanting with my client, to help him to release tension from his body....
I glanced up, and a young girl was standing nearby transfixed, looking at me quizzically...
Then a woman and her young son with a little dog went by... The dog decided to have a wee.... The woman stopped and got tissues from her bag to cover the wet spot. Her son, who looked about ten years old, stood holding the dog, looking a little uncomfortable and grinning ruefully at me while his Mum carried out 'operation wee...'
I was just finishing my conversation when striding towards me came five armed policemen with a dog...
I felt like I was in a computer game or on a film set...
They passed by, again it was as if I didn't exist....
I was simply the watcher of it all...
We are all the watchers of it all in truth... There is a place within us that is still; always still. The place that watches everything, absolutely everything we do.
A part is always watching.
The more we can know we are that part, rather than believe we are the person living out the stories...
We are free.
