Twenty minutes to landing....
We are on the plane...
About an hour from Gatwick, the lights are on and breakfast is being served... There is much activity and 'things going on', people moving about, chatting, going to the bathrooms, and we are being served breakfast...
It is around 2.45am if we are going by our 'old time' - but we have flown ahead of it, beaten it to the finish line by five whole hours... Our reward is those extra hours to do with what we will...
What a prize, more time - whatever this thing called time is, that we can play with and manipulate...
But however much we can race it and change our clocks, we continue to orbit the sun each day, the rhythm stays the same, daylight comes when we turn to face its brilliant rays, shining on us in all its power and magnitude.
What a magical thing that we can chase it and run from it too... That we can climb aboard this thing called an aeroplane and play games in the sky with nature's pace...
Half an hour ago all was quiet and the plane was in darkness, it seemed that everyone was sleeping... I got up and had a strip wash, I am seeing Amy when we land and then I am with my clients for the rest of the day, so with them in mind, the freshest me possible will be there...!
And I slept the night through...
We boarded at 7.30pm and Anadi, who has meetings today too, and I said ' okay sleeping time...'
It was 12.30am at our 'place of destination'!
We are being met at Gatwick by Richard, who is Anadi's sales manager in the UK... He is already there, breakfasting too, having dropped his daughter off who was flying away...
He is meeting us and then taking us to our 'address...' We have to have an address in the UK to be able to keep money in the bank - the one thread we have to being part of society - we may not own property or very much really - but we have money in the bank and a UK address at Gatwick allows us to do this!
Our 'virtual address' also has the facility to hire office space and so this is where we will be today....
At our virtual address in 'nomads nomansland between the island of St Lucia and the Island of Corfu....
