'Be The Change You Want To See In The World...
We have had a Saturday type of a day - on Saturday!
Up early - always worth the earlier starts to witness the magical mistiness of the morning mountains. The amber light, the promise of a brand new day - up early to run to be back for a Skype session booked...
A conversation for me on the balcony, and for her in the living room... Me here, she in the UK! Two worlds one!
The wonders of this paradigm we now live in... Simply confirming what we deeply know, that there is no separation, we are all one...
But planet earth is an amazing opportunity to clear any hurt, because of the Illusion of separateness, we believe that we can get hurt by one another...
Of course no one can hurt us if we are whole, nothing can unbalance us or send us off centre if we know we are whole, and clear away the hurt that separates us...
The hurt within us, activated 'outside us', by the relationships, the events and episodes which make up our life...
When we truly accept within us, that everything outside us is our responsibility, everything around us... We can ask the question with curiosity 'why did I invite this in, what can I learn, know, how can I grow from this...?'
We can 'be the change we want to see in the world...'
And so after my conversation on the balcony with, according to the Ho' oponopono philosophy, an aspect of myself, we drove to Orgiva for breakfast..
I like the Ho' oponopono idears, it makes sense... That whatever is in front of our awareness is part of our own energy, and that the most effective way to help the person to clear their own stuck places is to clear it in ourselves...
The essential teaching is to remind us that it is all about us, that whatever we are experiencing on the outer realms is an expression of our own inner world, that there is nothing out there... It is all to do with us...
This is a paragraph that explains it a little...
'To make it clearer, one of the most important things we learn in the Ho’oponopono seminar is that we are the ones that have to do it. We learn that we can change it; that what is erased from us is erased from everyone and that when we change, everything and everybody changes as well; if we want to help, we have to do the job ourselves!; there is nobody out there...'
The mountain was cooler to be in early... Anadi and I ran to the stream together and then went on our own runs... I chose the steep path again and a ran the big loop, while he retraced his steps... This meant we met at the little stone house... He got there ten minutes before me and sat still, enjoying being, on the mountain side, with the sun starting to warm the sandy pathways...
'If everything is a reflection of an aspect within us....'I picked up our ongoing explorative conversation of being on planet earth in the form we know ourselves and one another to be... 'What about Osho and Papaji and Ramana... What about the enlightened masters who have the crowds flocking to them; many folk coming to be with them, all with their hurts and unresolved dilemmas... What does that mean?' 'I don't know' Anadi replied... 'Thats an interesting one, I don't know...'
'Anyway...' I continued 'it works for me to take responsibility, and at least enquire in every situation, where I might need to clear myself...' 'Yes...' He agreed... 'It does work, to reflect on every single thing being connected in some way to us, in the mirror... A reflection of some aspect anyway, and to keep clearing our own energetic blocks, and simply see what unfolds...'
And so we had breakfast in the sun in Orgiva, under a parasol, hot sun, reflecting on everything, so hot now, very little shade.... We talked some more, and agreed that we are all responsible for everything, every single thing.... I ate croissant and ham with cheese, Anadi enjoyed Spanish omelette; we ordered orange juice and coffee and noticed our Spanish is better when the cafe owners speak no English at all...
