'One Sees Clearly Only With The Heart...'
After a run in the sun, I landed on Paul, the osteopaths couch....
We chatted while he stuck needles in my medial hamstring, all the way down past my knee.. I told him how much I was enjoying running, how much I love running in Britain when the sun shines as it has done every day that we have been here!
We talked about living life fully, about not resisting the waves, seeing where they take us... Whether we can surf them and stay in top, or get tumbled about about and spat out, or whether we drown...
'Enjoy nomading ' he said as I left...
'I'll be back' I replied...
Then I dropped into Gaia, the next door down, to buy some more super foods and have a chat with Eugene...
'I could live all alone in a desert island' he said...
Yes, I love being alone' I affirmed, 'but the more I find I am able to be alone, truly alone, the more I find that this attracts people...'
He agreed...
Because we are all connected, the more we connect to ourselves then we are able to be alone and know the connection with others is not so much even about a connection, we are know and experience that we are one ... We are quite simply meeting ourselves in every person we encounter...
This morning as we ran around the park, Anadi and I were talking about how during this incarnation, whatever we are all living out and experiencing, we are all making the same journey to love, to consciousness itself... It is not for us to comment on or pass judgement on another, because we do not know the path another treads....
All that is truly our concern is our own journey, our own self reflection.
I called Anadi after I had left Gaia and asked if he fancied a coffee in 'The Larder'....
He joined me , and as we were sitting there a man in a red jumper bounced in...
A lively soul...
He told us that he had had good news that day, and decided to come here to see who he could annoy and not go back to the office....
He told us his name... Little Brian, he asked us where we live... 'So you're gypsies... It might not look like it now, but I have wander lust too... I had a place in Spain for thirty two years...'
He chatted some more, and then saw my notebook
'Give me your book' he said 'I want to write in the back...'
I then watched him as he wrote
'Anything essential is invisible to the eyes...'
It is a quote from 'The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint - Expery...
'There is everything you need to know about life in that book' he said...
After he had gone, I looked up the whole quote which reads...
One sees clearly only with the heart. Anything essential is invisible to the eyes.
Later...
It is now lunchtime and I am still in 'The Larder', my office for the morning...
Anadi is in his office at 'The Stables' where we are staying....
I have just asked Michael who owns the cafe if I can order porridge at this time of day... It's under the 'breakfast section' of the menu...
'You can order porridge anytime' he said 'there are no rules'...
'I agree' I laughed ' I am a very non rules person.... 'I'm unruly' !
