The Art Of Sexual Magic...
Today has been a perfect day...
We woke to a sparkling Saturday morning, and sat drinking tea watching the sun streak through the clouds, clearing them all away to reveal blue, blue, blue..
Anadi was joining me on 'my run', a loop I have discovered that is ten miles long; except today it became eleven; because even though I thought I knew the way, I took a 'different turning' which added the extra mile...
I love this island and the way we run from one side to another during one run...
I love the quiet streets and the joy in the land, the people are at ease, there doesn't seem to be any hurry; except for the occasional roaring motorbike or young man in a throaty car...
There doesn't really seem the space here to zoom along, but zoom they do, occasionally!
As we ran we made a plan to have some fun creative time when we returned...
It is two and a half years since we last sat down and 'formally' explored our personal dreams and our vision...
We did it in Eastbourne then, in a coffee shop, and then we created a symbol to represent everything we had written...
I had been reading my book on Tantra and the art of sexual magic at the time. The book suggested that a symbol representing your dreams, was even more powerful when it was imbued with sexual energy...
That the dreams from our soul would attain more magic and flight with this energy... Where the union between the couple is equal, and where the purpose is to attain altered states of consciousness...
'How do we do that' I'd asked Anadi.. 'No thought' he replied 'drop between the gaps in the thoughts'
'Ah yes, a meditation... Making love as a meditation, running as a meditation, life as a meditation...'
So after our run today, we lay on the bed with our pads and pencils, and first drew our mind maps, 'Julia's dreams' and 'Anadi's dreams'....
We read them out to one another; it was fun, and the essence of them much as you might imagine... Freedom, fun, joy, conscious living in all of our endeavours, was in short what we wrote....
We then created a new symbol...
And the day felt a special and productive one...
It was now time for a late lunch at the Grand...
