Magical Life
Today I had a sunny run, an early bright Saturday morning run... I was out early because I had booked another treatment with Gerhard...
And it turned out to be the only sunny part of the day...
For today has been a rainy day...
Two days ago, when Anadi and I were running, we passed near Gerhard's home, and to make sure I knew the way - he had met me on the main road and walked me there last time - I asked Anadi if we could check it out...
As we went down the bumpy slip road, and rounded the corner to a view of the sea below...
Anadi exclaimed... 'Wow, this is where my Gran and Grandfather lived; this flat here...!
It was almost next door to Gerhard!
We marvelled at the plans and patterns and energetic pathways that weave and dance around us all the time, and we often follow not even knowing we are...
I loved my treatment with Gerhard this morning... I felt I would like it to never stop... He is a very giving and intuitive therapist and when I said to him afterwards...
'It was like I could be dead...' He understood... 'Yes', he said 'you could get out of the way completely, because I give myself over and tune into your energy...'
While I was lying on the massage couch, I felt like my whole purpose on earth was simply to surrender to this treatment and be healed in this way; that there was nothing else for me to do; ever again...!
In essence if we do surrender to everything we do, it becomes clear that there is no purpose, as such, other than to be where we are; fully engaged....
There truly is nothing to 'do';
Purposefulness springs from this place; rather than needing to find a purpose or meaning... And 'action' and 'doing' springs from being...
Our soul will direct us to where we need to go by our attention being drawn to a situation, a person, a course of action...
I think perhaps our soul would like many experiences....
So it is whether we follow the spark that was ignited by the souls attention, where we then direct our energy, that directs the course of this lifetime...
After my treatment I walked back to the Grand, in the rain!
We had made a plan with Manny and Linda to get pizza from the special Gozo pizza bakery, and take them to San Blas, a beach we had not yet visited...
The bakery was an outing in itself... Huge ovens full of delicious pizzas... We stood in the warmth, and watched the ingredients being put onto the bases beside us, before going into the vast ovens...
The beach was very beautiful indeed... We ate our pizzas under the cover of a little 'summer house'...
The local man who owned it happened to be there when we turned up in the pouring rain, and very willingly invited us to shelter there....
Pizza by the sea, in the rain, surrounded by the beauty of Gozo island with our new friends from NYC... Magical life....
