Everything Still...
Anadi and I ran a loop today... Up the river, across the bridge with the statues of horses prancing; the sun dancing on them... And back towards the sea, sparkling bright light, mirroring a lightness in my step.
I can feel the effect of more focused training, I am feeling different in my stride... There is more strength in it, more bounce.
As we ran past the beach, a man was just finishing the most intricate beautiful picture in the sand; he was completing a sweeping arc shaped like a moon, scuffing along to create the pattern with his feet...
'How does he do it?' I asked, 'it's so perfect'.... 'Practice', Anadi replied!
I have had a wonderful day working with Ange and her boyfriend...
I have really loved the day.
I am aware how much I enjoy actually being with my clients, although I am very grateful for our 'star trek' world that allows the connection if we are in different parts of the globe...
One of my clients said that he feels he gets 95% on Skype... Of what he experiences when we work in the same country, the same room...
Anadi joined us for lunch and we ate delicious goat cheese salad, and I drank tonic water..! It seems to have become my drink of choice since I discovered GnT and found my virgin model of the T without the G can be drunk anytime of the day...
Anadi has been looking into visas for us to go to Perth later in the year when I run in the masters world championships...
Due to his 'past' he has discovered there is a bit of a process to go through... And that he may not be allowed in...!
We all laughed at the irony of Australia being the place that the convicts were sent to from England many years ago...
If you want to know about Anadi's past, it's all in Girlfriend for a year...
I am now off to the gym...
I am loving the benefit of the 'Shore Method' session... It's progressive, as even though it is relatively easy to do, I can feel the deepening balance and strength within my muscles.
It feels like the benefit is coming from the inside out...
In part because the exercises are easy enough for me to feel like going and doing them regularly...!
I also like the act of going into the gym, the meditation that the rhythm of the exercises offer...
And finishing prone on the floor in the corpse position.
Everything still...
