We Work Anytime Anywhere...
I was up again in the dark...
Most of my exercises were done in the bathroom, so as not to wake Anadi any earlier than he had to be woken!
I emerged announcing it was time to get up, and after a quick cup of tea we were both out of the door, to be greeted by a glorious sunrise...
Our friend Armando appeared at the same time as us, and we stopped for a quick chat...
'Come and have a coffee' he said, he works at Urban Ground, a fabulous cafe in Eastbourne 'I would love to' I said, 'but I don't leave room 2 in Ravilious when I land here, it turns into a therapy room...!'
'Ah', he said 'that is good though', and so he went on his way to work and we ran down to the sea....
'Everywhere is so different', I said, standing in awe looking at the beauteous sky; Everywhere there is magic and mystery, and nature's joyous dance, but it is so varied wherever we travel.
In Lanzarote the sky streaked in dramatic brush strokes of orange and red... In San Sebastián the colours mingled in a softer fashion...
The same sky above us, but the energy so different as we pass through... Freedompreneurs; the planet our home.
I have just looked up the definition of a freedompreneur... We only recognised this year that the term describes us, and our lifestyle quite well...
This is what I found...
'The meaning of a Freedompreneur is an entrepreneur with freedom of movement. They have set up their business in such a way that they can work anytime anywhere...'
Separating the two words gives even more insight...
The definition of freedom is 'not being imprisoned or restricted'... I have always perceived this as an inner state...
If there is no restriction within, then this reflects on the outer levels... Freedom of movement around the globe, does not feel like freedom if there is tension, stress and fear...
Which brings us to the next word 'entrepreneur', and the definition of this, which is 'someone who sets up a business or businesses taking on financial risk in the hope of profit...'
The financial risk bit - which we have certainly taken - could of course lead to the fear, stress, tension, which would sabotage the freedom...
And so the same cycles of fear. and being on a treadmill that feels impossible to get off, could occur in a lifestyle that moves about the globe...
My orientation has always been to work from the inside out, to clear myself of any restriction within my being. Freedom is an inner state, and any blocks will always reveal themselves in our experiences, the situations we find ourselves in and in our relationships ...
If we seek to practise freeing from within, then whether we are travelling the globe or we are staying in one place, we are free...
And the setting up businesses with financial risk for profit is more about risk being part of the fun, following our inner voice, taking leaps when we don't know where we will land, but knowing that - as John Burroughs says - 'if we leap the net will appear'...
And that the profit is increased consciousness...
Whatever arises from this place is perfect and beautiful and as it should be
