Meditation In Marrakech...
Anadi and I like saying our 'magic toast' when we have a drink, not necessarily alcoholic, we have been known to toast with coffee; and last night I ordered a carrot juice and got something else... Very delicious, but certainly not carrot and I couldn't place the flavour...
But we used it as an opportunity for our toast anyway...
'We are living a life of love and consciousness, we are abundant, clear and free and we are totally supported from within'
The truth of our 'mantra' is borne out again and again...
Our new home appeared like magic yesterday... And on the journey here, I announced to the taxi driver that I needed a wee, about thirty seconds before the only loo stop on the road we were travelling...
Today I had made a commitment to make a phone call to a client, and Skype was playing up... We went along to a cafe for another wifi connection, and the cafe owner leant me his international phone to make the call...
Anadi is now organising an international phone for us!
Much needed...
We have one that phones for free from Europe; but as 'staying in touch' and communication is my essence; the core of all I offer, it feels an important step to be able to phone from all over the globe...
Jamal had given us very specific instructions this morning on how to navigate across the main square, past the mosque, through the gardens full of orange trees to find an expansive space to run....
We were doing well...
We had arrived the other side of the park full of orange trees, and we were standing looking this way and that 'which way now?' When a man on a bench called to us... 'You want to jog...? See the traffic lights', 'Yes' we responded... 'Go straight over them, cross the road and you will see it there in front of you...'
We were totally supported once again...
Sure enough across the road lay a vast expanse of dusty ground, trees and shrubs grew around and about, and a group of camels sat on the ground resting... Two had their heads on the sandy ground having a little sleep, the other three just crouched in stillness, waiting...
Anadi sat under a tree while I ran around and about... His head and body needing a rest too, like the camels... They all sat on the dusty ground quite near each other.
He preferred to watch me run about, and create some more of the documentary we are making about 'meditation in action'...
Some soldiers passed by and wondered what he was doing... They came back again, and found him filming me... I was running up and down between the goal posts of the brown earth football pitch...
The sun was high and bright in the sky; it was warm...
I felt at ease.... I felt fast and free and relaxed, 'meditation on the move in Marrakech'.
I like it here, in this busy land, of sun and bright colours, where most everyone has an agenda when they greet you... 'Buy from me...'
But I don"t mind... It seems to be a custom of the land
And so it is....
