Tuesday's Child
Today we ran nine miles, the route was all along the Jurassic coast... A delightful, bright May morning, damp after nighttime rain, and misty hilly... I find looking at the ground just in front of me, helps to navigate these steep, craggy, grassy climbs - as does not being able to see the top! Still shrouded in its morning blanket...
This time last week I was running in Provence, a bright sunny, blue sky morning, past fields of poppies, and then through a French town, Maubec... Running to my destination, my brother and Sue, my sister in law's house for a breakfast of fresh fruit, croissant and eggs...
Before we flew back to England we stayed awhile in Marseilles, and so the Corniche was my running track for two days, one day a mistral so strong that it whipped me almost off my feet...
Another day, another vista opening in front of me, as I run my road less travelled...
We are staying in Honeysuckle cottage in Eype again... This is where we stayed when I set off to chart my nomadic adventure on a daily basis...
'I'd like to try and write every day again' I said to Anadi as we ran long today...
I have become so busy, my work has adjusted to my lifestyle, and I now have evidence that I can work all over the world... My work follows me...
'I will just write less...' I concluded
And then I realised that today it is Tuesday. The day I was born, and the day I gave birth to my last daily blog...
I have just looked up 'Tuesday's child' on Google...
'Tuesday's child has the ruling planet of Mars, which symbolises a fighting spirit, the will to win. A desire to lead the way, to show initiative, to be active, to get up and go,to achieve success, and to progress through effort, drive, enthusiasm and energy...'
That seems a good energy to set 'Julia's gone running' off again...!
