Writing Meditation On The Move...!.
I am writing my blog on the move again....
On a train on my way into central London where I am meeting a client near the festival hall.
I am very much looks forward to seeing him and to my first coffee of the day...!
We are both coffee lovers, so our venue is of course chosen on the merits of the coffee it provides... We have both decided that coffee is part of the magic in the space we create...
Anadi and I only returned back from our run about an hour ago...11 miles... 3 miles through Grovelands Park, past the duck pond and then on to Trent park; a lap with our friend Andy there, and then home again...
A fresh, verdant lush, sunny May morning, a slight chill in the air, warmed away by the rising heat of the morning sun...
As we ran, we were reflecting how being long term without roots or familiarity has contributed to feeling lighter and clearer as we go; I notice I simply can't attach to stories or thoughts... I have worked out that just taking the next step, and honouring all my commitments is all that is necessary, and then life just happens and unfolds...
Of course I make plans, but they arise quite easily... I do notice that life is incredibly full, but I wonder if it is like being spun around and cleaned out so that I have no more angst, or fear, or 'what ifs', or regrets or anything left...
I wonder if this is how I am finding out about the moment...
By having no energy left but to be 100 percent in it...!
Later...
What a brilliant day; and our waitress even remembered from my client's previous visit on Easter Sunday, that I like almond croissant... !
After we had finished our session, I went to meet my friend Wends under the clock at Waterloo at 3pm, and we have just spent four hours talking, exploring, crying, laughing... Celebrating just being together in the way we always have... Reminding us of days gone by which were full - in our memory of them - with endless conversation on the bus ride to school, summers lying by the river... Time spent drifting and meandering without urgency between each other's homes; we wandered without aim purely because we liked being together...
And the core value of our friendship remains...
We love being together!
When we were 13 or 14 years old, we would always squash together into the photo booth at the station, and take some pics at the end of a day out in Guildford ...
And now we maintain our tradition, and finish our day in the same manner without the need of a photo booth...!
